Map Shows All The Devices In The World Connected To The Internet
You never wondered how many in the world of devices connected to the Internet? And where the greatest concentration? One man spent an interesting experiment and made global PING all Internet-connected computers, smart objects and devices.
This man turned out to be John Matterli, founder of search engine Shodan , which is the world's first Internet search engine stuff. Its search engine allows manufacturers of equipment for "smart homes" to determine which of their devices are currently connected to the Internet, and where they are located geographically.
John ping all devices have access to the Internet and on the basis of the data created a map of the world, where they found marked accumulation of devices.
Nobody will be surprised to see that the highest concentration of Internet connections accounted for the United States , the east coast of South America, Europe, India, China and Japan. Least of all Internet users in Africa, Australia, Greenland, Canada, Alaska and northern Russia.
The maximum number of connections to the Internet are registered in the European part of the country, especially around Moscow and St. Petersburg. The farther to the east, the lower the concentration of Internet connections.
Can not be sure that in the experiment John Matterli reflect 100% of all devices connected to the Internet, but in any case, the result of this study looks pretty interesting, and the resulting "Map of the Internet" looks very cute.
